Safety Officer Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to support the operational team with Work Health and Safety (WHS) initiatives.
This entry-level position is available initially on a part-time basis, three days per week, and offers opportunities for growth into a full-time role.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of our Safety Management System, identify training needs, and deliver training programs.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting operational staff and contractors to identify risks, controls, and management processes.
2. Maintaining safety performance and compliance with regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Drafting and updating Safe Operating Procedures and other operational safety processes.
A Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety or relevant tertiary qualifications is required, along with working knowledge of WHS requirements and processes, and experience with farming and machinery operations.
