**What we are looking for**:
- Previous and effective experience working as a Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler in an Asset & Maintenance environment.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and using a Maintenance Management Systems.
- Understanding of purchasing protocals, budgeting principles and asset lifecycle costs.
- Understanding of, and ability to implement, quality mechanisms within a commercial production facility.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with particular focus on meeting customer requirements and negotiating successful outcomes within a complex work environment.
- Project management skills with capability to manage multiple tasks, measure performance and meet deadlines while holding self and others accountable.
- Knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge, of Statutory Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards applicable to Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services as applied to Queensland Health.
**Mandatory qualifications and other requirements**:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
- Travel between and to all GLS sites as required.
- Hold C Class driver's licence.
- It is a condition of employment for this role, for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 as per the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
- It may be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox),pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, tuberculosis.
