Production Operator (Casual – 10 Months) Somersby, NSW (Central Coast – between Sydney & Newcastle)
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a small, close-knit team based in Somersby on the NSW Central Coast. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, hands‐on work in a supportive production environment.
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will be working across a range of warehouse and production activities in a medium‐sized site (3 sheds), supporting day‐to‐day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Labelling bottles and products
* Packing boxes and preparing orders
* General warehouse and production duties
* Setting up pumps and staging materials for daily production
* Assisting laboratory technicians with basic tasks
* Supporting the production process of agricultural products (non‐hazardous materials)
* Preparing and packing finished goods for distribution
Work Schedule
* Monday to Thursday only (Fridays off)
* Shift options:
o 6:00am start, or
o 4:00pm start
* Includes morning tea break and 30‐minute lunch

About You
* Previous operations, production or warehouse experience
* A strong work ethic and ability to work in a small team

* Good attention to detail and reliability
Desirable (but not essential):
* Forklift licence
PPE Requirements
* Full PPE will be provided by BASF after onboarding
* Initially, candidates must supply their own:
o Steel cap boots
o High‐visibility clothing
o Long sleeve shirts/arm protection
Additional Information
* Work involves non-hazardous materials
* Products are used in agriculture, including biological solutions for farming
* Exposure to both warehouse and light lab environments
