This position is also required to maintain the hospital in an aesthetic and sanitarily clean condition.**The Position*** Perform all orderly duties which form part of Hotel Services responsibilities including transportation and transfer of patients, lifting of patients, mortuary duties, moving of furniture and setting up for meetings.* Make deliveries as required including mail, newspapers and other correspondence, equipment and food, as well as the transfer of patient luggage and personal items.* In accordance with the cleaning schedule and procedures perform cleaning duties as required keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic including scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming and polishing.* Respond promptly to requests that come verbally by telephone, prioritising own work within established routines and discuss any issues with the Nursing Supervisor.* Report any faults, wear or breakdowns to Environmental Services Coordinator.* Provide back-fill assistance to Switchboard as required.Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service, with excellent interpersonal skills.
