Great Opportunity for a Ground Service Agent at Sydney International Airport!
- **All applicants need to hold the full work rights to work permanently in Australia as we are not able to sponsor your work visa.**_

Please note: This is Full-time role on Shift work. We are looking for someone who is able to work with all shift type: Morning shift, Day shift, and Night shift and available working on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Passenger check in, manual and DCS.
- Receive ticket, passport, check documents for validity and accept or reject documents.
- Accept & weigh bags, accept or reject, if reject discuss with passenger (re cost of excess baggage etc.).
- Process check in, tag baggage, arrange seating & issue boarding passes, ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Customer service - assessing the needs of the customer.
- Check serviceability of equipment.
- Arrange & remove tensile barriers and carpets.
- Push WCHR's, (wheelchair passengers), assist MAAS, (meet and assist), passengers on arrival and departure.
- Set up, close down & stock check in counters.
- Record (written or electronic) flight data and file reports into flight files - (MEL only).
- Answer telephones enquires, operate fax & photocopy machines etc.; send telex's as required.
- Duties as directed by Managers & Supervisors within skills base.
- Be current in Dangerous Goods Awareness.
- Observe OH & S and security requirements.
- Operate and responsible for recording of flight data.
- Filing reports into flight files.

**Requirements**:

- Experience of Cabin Crew, Passenger Service Staff, or Customer Service at Luxury Hotel
- Understanding for Japanese "Omotenashi" culture for providing the excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Skilled presentation and excellent customer service skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Japanese or other language skills are a plus
- MUST be available to work morning and night shift
- MUST be able to work on weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Understanding of cultural diversity
