We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registrar in Geriatric Medicine at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for Basic Physician trainees, GP Registrars, or Advanced Trainees in Rehabilitation or Emergency Medicine to gain experience and develop their skills in geriatric care.
The hospital has a 106-bed Aged Care department with multiple services including consultative services, shared-care orthogeriatrics, outpatient clinics, education, and research.
Key responsibilities include:
* Day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients
* After-hours emergency cover at the hospital
Essential requirements include:
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable)
