AV Integrator

Full-time

Berriedale, Tasmania

MONA's operations rely on a wide range of technology systems to support its owners, visitors, facilities, world-class events and festivals. As the organisation constantly evolves, this technology backbone is critical to its success.

We are looking for a technically skilled AV Integrator to install, commission, and support these systems. This role provides technology solutions across audio-visual systems, unified communications, control systems, access control, security, CCTV, and radio systems. The ideal candidate will have broad technical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt and learn in a high-change environment.


The Gig:


You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of technology systems across MONA's unique sites by:

* Installing, commissioning, and supporting technology systems including audio-visual, unified communications, control systems, lighting control, access control, security, CCTV, and radio systems.
* Installing structured cabling systems and infrastructure required to support technology systems.
* Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and installation-related issues.
* Participating in the collaborative design and prototyping of technical solutions.
* Performing quality assurance testing of technical systems and clearly documenting issues.
* Planning and undertaking preventative maintenance of technology systems.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and records of installations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Providing training and advice on technical systems.
* Participating in a roster to support technology systems outside of normal business hours.


The You:


A highly skilled technical professional with a client-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will have:

* A current Open Cabling registration is desirable.
* Experience or qualifications in a technical field (Audio Visual, ICT, telecommunications etc).
* Good general knowledge of information technology and audiovisual systems.
* Sound knowledge of electronics principles and practices.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
* Prior experience supporting teams with rigid deadlines (events, festivals, professionals) preferred.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously.
* The ability to work efficiently independently and in a fast-moving team environment.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to provide best-in-class support with a focus on client satisfaction.
* A current driver's license and vehicle.

This role requires participation in an on-call roster to support systems for stakeholders outside of normal business hours. You will also be required to participate in remote and interstate projects.
