About the Role
As an Electrical Trainer, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices and students in both classroom and practical workshop environments. You will play a key role in supporting learner success while ensuring compliance with training standards and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver training and assessment in electrical qualifications
Prepare and facilitate engaging training sessions
Assess student competency and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate training and assessment records
Support and mentor apprentices and students
Ensure compliance with RTO standards and WHS requirements
Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities
Skills & Experience
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain
Strong industry experience as an electrician
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to engage and motivate learners
Current driver's licence
Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable
Previous training or mentoring experience
Experience within the vocational education sector
High Risk Work Licence or additional industry tickets
