4 Day Work WeekAnnual Leave: 4 weeks paid annual leavePersonal/Carer\'s Leave: 10 days per yearPublic Holidays: Paid public holidays as recognised in the Hunter regionSuperannuation: Guaranteed employer contributions in line with current legislationOvertime Pay: Additional rates for overtime, weekend, and public holiday workLong Service Leave: Entitlements in accordance with relevant state legislationWorkplace Flexibility: Opportunity for flexible working hours where possibleOngoing training and development opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment and systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues with industrial machineryLead and mentor a team of junior electricians and apprenticesEnsure all work complies with Australian safety standards and regulationsRead and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and blueprintsConduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality proceduresCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and minimise downtimeManage and report on project timelines, costs, and progressRequirementsCertificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalentA-Grade Electrical LicenceExtensive experience (5+ years) in industrial electrical workStrong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and industrial automationExperience with PLCs and variable speed drives (preferred, but not essential)Ability to work independently and lead a teamStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work safely under pressure and in varying conditionsWorking with Builders and working through jobs autonomouslyWorking with customers dailyTaking charge of apprentices to coach and developBe motivated and have an excellent work ethicBe able to work additional / overtime hours as requiredBe trade qualified and hold a current Electrical licencePossess tools of the tradeApplicants must have a current Construction White CardDrivers licence (Manual required)Proven experience as a qualified electricianEnergetic and enthusiasticExperience in residentialExcellent problem-solving abilityConfident in project management rolesCurrent and eligible visa to work in AustraliaBenefitsLevel Electrical & Air Maitland is backed by 40+ years of experience delivering high-quality services to Maitland and surrounding areas.
