Role Summary
As a Disability Support Worker, you will empower people with disabilities to live the life they choose. You'll be part of a compassionate, values-driven organisation where your contribution is genuinely valued and no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting clients in achieving personal and developmental goals
* Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation
* Providing in-home and community-based support to promote independence
* Encouraging skill development through mentoring and positive role modelling
* Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure high-quality care
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with guidelines
About You
* Transferable skills and/or study in a related field
* A strong passion for empowering individuals with a disability
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families
* A valid Queensland Driver's Licence and a fully insured vehicle to support clients
* A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
