Overview
Direct Support Worker - Ashgrove at CPL - Choice, Passion, Life. Casual role supporting clients with Arts and Life skills programs at our Ashgrove Centre. This position is suitable for university students seeking a rewarding and flexible job.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role with the centre’s team of dedicated support workers to enable the best outcomes for clients.
- Provide support and assistance with personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, and medication management.
- Facilitate and lead arts and music programs to support clients’ creative goals.
- Provide safe and effective services to optimise independence, health, well-being and quality of life.
- Encourage individuals to make their own decisions, while safeguarding privacy and dignity.
What we are looking for
- Experience in music, arts or performing arts
- Empathetic nature with the ability to create an inclusive and fun environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping others and creating a positive impact

Role Details
- Location: Ashgrove, Brisbane
- Hours: Casual shifts between 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Up to $44 per hour depending on experience plus Salary Sacrifice
