About the Role
* We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Southport.
* The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' functional abilities, daily routines, and psychosocial needs.
* This role requires developing and delivering evidence-based interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation.
* Key responsibilities include supporting clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
* You will also apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management, sensory regulation, and activity-based interventions.
* Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with allied health professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care.
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and monitoring progress is also essential to ensure clients achieve meaningful outcomes.

* This is a permanent part-time position (2 days per week, 0.4 FTE).

Requirements:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current AHPRA registration.
* 3-5+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy (mental health, rehabilitation, or community care highly regarded).
* Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful client and colleague relationships.
* Experience delivering evidence-based care and fostering innovation in service delivery.
