About the Role
WesTrac is seeking an experienced Window Tinter to join their New Machines workshop based in Tomago. This role is predominantly focused on window tinting of new plant machinery, delivering a high-quality finish across a range of equipment. In addition, the successful candidate will support the new machine build process by undertaking general Trades Assistant duties and assisting trades as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean, measure, cut and professionally apply window tint to plant and heavy machinery ensuring accurate fit and high-quality finish.
* Prepare machines and work sites for tinting, including safe removal and refitting of door and window trims, seals and internal panels as required.
* Use internal software systems to identify, locate and issue parts within the workshop.
* Coordinate and deliver parts to trade teams in a timely manner.
* Prepare and organise work bays ahead of scheduled builds.
* Perform scheduled workshop maintenance inspections, keeping parts storage areas tidy and compliant.
* Operate forklifts and workshop machinery (as required and licensed).
* Deliver and collect maintenance materials from off-site suppliers.
Essential Criteria
* Valid Driver's Licence.
* Current HRW Forklift Licence (desirable).
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* High level of attention to safety and quality.
* Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
* A positive, proactive attitude.
Roster & Rates
Roster pattern: 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights early knock off on Friday.
Rates are from $ (per hour) including overtime as appropriate, and will be assessed based on competencies and experience.
