Overview
Location: Adelaide (SA)
Senior Sales Engineer (Technical) at Honeywell. You will drive customer acquisition and revenue by delivering tailored, end-to-end solutions using Sine's products and integrations. You'll act as a technical expert, collaborate cross-functionally, and support the sales team through coaching and hands-on engagement to achieve strong customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Support profitable and strategic sales growth, drive customer acquisition, establish market demand and grow business with new and existing customers
* Act as technical liaison, translating customer needs into actionable solution designs
* Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way to both internal sales teams and customer stakeholders
* Ensure clear estimates and well-defined scopes of works are provided to the sales team, supporting accurate customer proposals
* Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivery capabilities, confirming that what is sold can be successfully implemented
* Maintain a deep understanding of new product features and upcoming roadmap releases, demonstrating to the sales team, training them on both technical and customer use cases to empower customer conversations
* Own the completion of customer requested information security documentation, ensuring all compliance and privacy standards are clearly addressed and communicated to the customer
* Lead the technical scoping of customer solutions and confidently conduct customer-facing demos and discussions, addressing customer technical requirements and compliance with security standards
* Support the Account Executives with pre-sales presentations with the customers and become a trusted advisor
* Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team in winning opportunities, determine technical components related to customer requirements; provides market feedback to all areas of the business
* Establish and build trusted relationships with customers by providing expert technical guidance, ensuring confidence throughout pre-sales stage and beyond
Education and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience
* Demonstrated experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS), Access control, Apps or related business to business industry
* 5+ years as an individual contributor technical and/or commercial representative
* Experience supporting a full-sales cycle with estimation, solution design and strategy
* Sales experience in the commercial buildings or SaaS industry preferred
* Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Offering, Engineering and Sales teams
* Understands how to build sales strategies from market data across multiple geographies/industries and uses common sense approach to execution
