We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team in the Morisset area.

In Addition, You Will Need
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability.
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
The Role
As a Care Worker, you will provide our aged care clients with home help services such as:
- General housekeeping and making beds.
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
You will also provide personal care services such as:
- Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
- Assisting clients to take their medications.
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
- Providing complex care for high care needs such as dementia.
- Providing social and emotional support.
- Providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
- Helping the family carer have a break or opportunity for other tasks.
