About the Role
You will be a proactive clinical leader with expertise and authority to diagnose, treat, and support residents across a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions. Your responsibilities will include reducing avoidable hospital admissions through early intervention and comprehensive care, prescribing medications, and providing specialist referrals as part of holistic, resident-focused treatment plans.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within health or aged care
* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
* A proven track record of leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
* Strength in relationship-building, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for residents, families, and key stakeholders
* A sound understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and its application in aged care settings
* Familiarity with Department of Health regulations related to residential aged care services
* Current AHPRA registration in good standing
