As an Advanced Pharmacy Assistant, you play an important role in supporting pharmacists, patients and clinical teams, ensuring medicines are prepared safely, delivered efficiently, and managed with care. Your contribution spans specialised manufacturing work, ward support and system improvements, making a real difference to patient outcomes across the service.
Responsibilities
* Support the safe and timely preparation of high‐risk and sterile medicines that patients rely on.
* Work closely with pharmacists and ward teams to ensure medicines are available, accurate and well‐managed.
* Strengthen quality and safety through monitoring, problem‐solving and continuous improvement.
* Guide and support less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge.

Qualifications
* Recognised Certificate IV in hospital or health services pharmacy support.
* Experience in clinical pharmacy support, manufacturing or complex medicine supply.
* Strong organisational skills and confidence to work independently within scope.
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting teams and patients.
* Experience in aseptic or sterile manufacturing and enjoyment of mentoring or training others is an advantage.
