AMO Technician - Electromechanical II
The AMO Technician - Electromechanical you would be responsible for Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing individual inspection of electro‐mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, parts lists & follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
* Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
* Persuades senior business management to change structures, roles, ways of working.
* Ability to gauge a multi‐layered department and to lead team in developing and implementing a midterm plan.
* Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non‐conforming equipment
* Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
* Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
Qualifications
* Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi‐pot testers and other basic instruments.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
* Technical diploma or associate's degree in electrical or mechanical field with advanced computer skills.
* Versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro‐mechanical devices.
* Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.
* 2+ years maintenance related experience in electro‐mechanical function or relevant industrial experience in airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic sectors.
* Ability to present a clear and compelling vision on strategy, business and support of own unit.
* Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
* Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro‐mechanical devices.
