Job Title: Dental Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated dental assistant to join our dynamic team. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering exceptional treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare patients for dental treatment by explaining procedures, administering local anesthesia (when required), and positioning them comfortably in the dental chair.
* Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists, including passing instruments, suctioning, and retracting tissues.
* Maintain infection control standards and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Provide instrument sterilization and prepare dental materials as required.
Requirements
* Dental assisting experience preferred but open to training;
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded;
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
* Motivated self-starter with a keen attention to detail;
* Passionate about customer service and patient care;
* Able to build rapport with patients in a cheerful, light-hearted manner.
