About This Role
We are seeking experienced Drill Operators for a permanent opportunity at our QCoal Northern Hub Project in Central Queensland. Working on a 7-day roster and adhering to our safety standards, you will be responsible for accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acknowledge drilling procedures and adhere to set protocols
* Conduct regular safety assessments and provide reports
* Participate in maintaining equipment cleanliness and performing routine maintenance checks
* Keep accurate records of drilling activities and report any anomalies or issues
Requirements
* A minimum of 12 months experience as a Drill Operator in the mining industry
* Verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts)
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Candidates must hold a current Standard 11 (or be willing to obtain) and current driver's license
* A commitment to upholding a positive safety culture
