About the Role
This is a hands-on role working alongside a supportive Senior Management Accountant, offering exposure to a broad range of accounting functions across multiple entities within a dynamic and growing business. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and has a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Month-end financial reporting and journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions and recharges
- Support with Accounts Payable including EFTsure supplier verification and payment runs
- Calculating and processing accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with property settlement accounting
- Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement via the ATO portal
- Support in preparation of annual audit documentation
- Ad hoc reconciliations and other finance tasks as required
About You
We’re seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and a proactive mindset.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of AP/AR workflows
- Solid experience with accruals and prepayments
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills
