We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to fill our CNC1 role in the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU), working as part of a committed and compassionate team providing specialist, intensive, multidisciplinary care to mental health consumers who require a high level of care.

Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU), Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick.

Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a minimum of 5 years post‑registration experience in a mental health specialty, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Demonstrated high‑level interpersonal and communication skills including advocacy and negotiation and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance career development.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve patient safety outcomes.
- Demonstrated effective clinical leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and clinical decision‑making.
- Demonstrates relevant experience in facilitating the transition and support of learners at all levels in the workplace and evaluation of clinical education programmes.
- Demonstrated skills in computer use and applications such as Windows, word processing and database use.
