Job Description
Permanent, part‐time role offering hands‐on experience in the OSHC industry. You will be supported by a Director of Service to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Footscray
You'll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday to Friday
* Before School Care: 6:30 – 8:45am
* After School Care: 2:45 – 6:30pm
* Admin Hours: 2.5
* Total Hours: 32.5
The Role – Leadership
Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high‐quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
* Engage with the school community, attend events and assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on children's preferences.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and create fun activities for primary‐school aged children.
* Support compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in before or after school care or education (training provided if not).
* Thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem‐solving skills and a positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Energetic and enthusiastic.
* Diploma qualification (equivalent or working toward it) as per ACECQA standards.
* Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko before commencing employment.
