Program Manager Maternity Leave – 6 Months | Hands‐On Leadership | Ready for a Challenge?
TeamKids is looking for a remarkable Program Manager to lead and grow our large, vibrant service. This fixed‐term, full‐time leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to coach a strong on‐site team and create exceptional experiences for children.
Contact hours: 23 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday BSC 7‐9am & ASC 2:30‐6:15pm). Admin hours: 15 hours (Friday 7.6 hrs, plus 7.4 hrs additional admin spread across the week).
Responsibilities
* Actively support and guide the team during contact hours.
* Build strong relationships with children, families and school leaders; oversee all communication.
* Oversee environment set‐up and ensure engaging, inclusive programming.
* Uplift and train the team to build consistency and confidence.
* Embed routines and structures that create calm, predictable, positive experiences.
* Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and quality.
* Oversee all day‐to‐day operations across Before, After and Vacation Care.
* Support and coach a structured leadership team.
* Embed strong routines, build systems and guide culture.
* Drive quality programming, compliance and family engagement.
* Build exceptional relationships with children, families, school leaders and your team.
* Resource and deliver a fun, inclusive, high‐quality experience for all children.
The Successful Candidate

* All successful candidates must complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
What You'll Need
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an OSHC or education leadership role.
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.

All TeamKids leadership roles are assessed based on the complexity and size of the service. Final salary is confirmed during the offer, aligned to our internal salary bands and the Children's Services Award.
