Your new role
As Workshop Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance team and ensuring our fleet remains roadworthy and compliant. You'll oversee day-to-day workshop operations, allocate tasks to trade staff, perform mechanical repairs, and support the Workshop Manager in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting trade staff in vehicle servicing and repairs
* Performing mechanical duties and diagnostics
* Ensuring workshop safety, compliance, and equipment maintenance
* Managing records, stock levels, and shift handovers
* Liaising with manufacturers and internal teams regarding vehicle availability
What you'll need to succeed
* Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
* Strong diagnostic and computer-based mechanical skills
* MR licence and computer literacy
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* A proactive, safety-first approach to workshop operations
