Job Description:
Our team is seeking a reliable and safety-focused forklift operator to support production by managing waste removal, transporting pallets, and carrying out general forklift duties to keep operations running smoothly.
This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment while ensuring all waste and recyclable materials are moved, emptied, and disposed of safely and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Move pallets and raw materials to designated storage and processing areas
* Collect, empty, and consolidate waste bins and recycling
* Conduct pre-operational safety checks before operating forklifts
* Follow all safe driving and load-handling procedures
* Support production teams with general forklift and materials-handling tasks
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Confidence and competence operating a forklift (High-Risk LF licence required)
* Willingness and ability to work the night shift
* Safety-conscious awareness of OH&S
* Comfort working in a fast-paced, production environment
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
* Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a diverse team
* Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Bendigo-based or willing to relocate and manage own transport
