About The Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you would:
* Conduct functional behaviour assessments.
* Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
* Provide evidence-based interventions for NDIS participants.
* Support participants, families, carers, and support teams.
* Work to reduce restrictive practices in line with NDIS requirements.
* Collaborate with allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
* Complete reports, case notes, and compliance documentation.
Typical Requirements
* Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or eligibility to become registered.
* Relevant qualification in psychology, education, social work, counselling, occupational therapy, speech pathology, or a related field.
* Experience working with people with disability, autism, mental health conditions, or complex behaviours.
* Strong written communication and report‐writing skills.
* Driver's licence and ability to travel to participants where required.
