Job Description
Ability Action Australia is one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family. Responsibilities
* Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
* Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
* Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
* Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant-centred goals.
* Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
* Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals.
Qualifications
* Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA.
* Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
* Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
