Opportunity
Urbane Recruitment is partnering with a growing mid‐market advisory platform to appoint a Vice President within its Sydney‐based M&A team. The firm advises founders, corporates and private equity investors across buy‐side, sell‐side and capital raising mandates, operating within the Australian mid‐market. With continued transaction momentum and expansion of its national advisory capability, the firm is seeking an experienced deal professional to play a senior leadership role within the M&A practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead execution of buy‐side and sell‐side M&A mandates from mandate through to completion.
* Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis and transaction deliverables.
* Act as primary day‐to‐day client contact throughout transaction processes.
* Manage due diligence workstreams and coordinate external advisors.
* Support negotiation strategy and transaction structuring.
* Supervise and develop Analysts, Associates and Managers.
* Contribute to business development and origination activity.
* Work collaboratively across broader advisory teams to deliver integrated client outcomes.
Candidate Profile
* 8–12 years' experience within investment banking, corporate finance or M&A advisory.
* Demonstrated track record leading mid‐market transactions.
* Strong technical capability combined with commercial judgement.
* Experience managing transaction teams and client relationships.
* Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, high‐performance environment.
