What you'll doSerco is a place where you can growAs a Correctional Case Officer, supervise, manage, and support inmates while ensuring safety, security, and rehabilitation in a respectful and structured environment.Help inmates prepare for reintegration into society at Clarence Correctional Centre.Supervise and manage inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegration.Conduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure setting.Use communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain order.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfare.Serco is a place for youYou don't need experience—just the right mindset.
We'll provide full training.To be successful in this role, you'll require:Willingness to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice (fully funded).
Strong communication, empathy, and resilience.Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems with sound judgment.Physical fitness to meet role demands.A valid Driver's Licence.As this is a position of trust, shortlisted candidates will undergo a Police Check and full probity assessment.Have questions?
