Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading day‐to‐day operations – managing work orders, ensuring top‐tier customer outcomes, and supporting your crew to deliver their best work, every time. Your leadership will drive not just performance, but a strong safety culture and a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities
* Maintaining a safe work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Striving to continuously achieve customer expectations through proactive work order management.
* Ensuring exceptional delivery of the customer experience.
* Building on existing service operations within the workshop environment to develop team and self.
* Monitoring work orders, working closely with team leaders and service coordinators to assist in the ease of job work in progress to invoice stages.
* Overseeing workshop KPIs and performance metrics with technicians and service coordinators.
* Leading and mentoring apprentices and technicians.
Qualifications
* You're a driven and inspiring leader with proven people‐management experience, capable of motivating a high‐performing team of professionals.
* You'll hold an automotive trade qualification, with earth‐moving industry experience highly regarded.
* A genuine commitment to safety.
* Experience in scheduling and labour coordination.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high‐performing team.
* Knowledge of Caterpillar (or similar) equipment.
* Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.
* Operational experience within the earth‐moving industry.
* Intermediate computer‐literacy skills (including MS Office Suite).
* Advanced communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
