Due to growing demand our client is seeking Motor Mechanics/Automotive Technicians to join their hard working and dedicated team. As Motor Mechanics you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repair.
Responsibilities
* Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling engines and parts.
* Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components such as pumps and injectors.
* Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.
* Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicle fuel injection systems.
* Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
* Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits.
* Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults.
* Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.
* Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications (at Cert III) in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanic.
* Repair, service and calibrate components.
* Diagnostic skills.
* Able to demonstrate efficient work practices.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hydraulics/Pneumatic experience highly regarded.

This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package of \$85,000–\$100,000 p.a on experience + superannuation.
