St Agnes' Catholic Parish is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation located in Port Macquarie providing education, early childhood services, aged care and community services to the community. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Casual Site Support Officer to provide support across our three residential aged care facilities - Emmaus Village, Emmaus Home and St Agnes' Residential Care. This casual role is available for an immediate start, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 3:06 pm) across the facilities. The position covers unplanned and planned leave, with planned cover from October to February 2026 (9 days a fortnight).
This role is vital in ensuring our facilities run smoothly, remain safe, clean and comfortable for residents. You will assist with stock and supplies, general upkeep and resident support.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
* Receive and verify stock deliveries, manage inventory and ensure proper stock rotation.
* Conduct waste removal across the facilities.
* Handle linen restocking, waste removal and furniture movement.
* Assist with resident care, including manual handling and maintain equipment and areas.
* Support basic maintenance and food service functions as needed.
* Assist and monitor call bells, battery schedules, ongoing maintenance and setup of fall prevention equipment.
* Complete documentation accurately and stay updated with internal communications.
Ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills, experience in maintenance, stock management and a compassionate approach to resident care.
Salary details: $31.86 per hour + casual loading + super + benefits.

WHO YOU ARE
* Experience in a stock/supplies position would be desirable, particularly in an aged care or health care setting
* A highly personable nature and an ability to liaise with residents, families and staff
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a collaborative team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Able to follow procedures and work systems
* Computer literacy (including Microsoft products)
* Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience
* A commitment to ongoing learning and development
* Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic values and principles
* NDIS Worker Check or the ability to obtain
