About the Job
The Care Services Assistant plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining. This position involves delivering person-centred care and support to residents according to their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation, and serving of resident meals.
2. Providing care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines, focusing on meal choices, individual nutrition, consideration of allergies and food intolerances, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Requirements
* Demonstrated customer service skills.
* A compassionate and caring attitude.
* Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience.
* Ability to take direction from others, be reliable, flexible with shifts, and manage time effectively while working under pressure.
