The Role: MC Driver
We're seeking a skilled and reliable MC Driver to join our team at our Karratha depot and drive our brand‐new Kenworth and Mercedes prime movers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Sadleirs, a leading logistics company.
The successful applicant will ensure the safe pick‐up and delivery of freight while adhering to all company safety requirements including load restraining, correct loading procedures and completing all pre‐start safety checks on the vehicle.
Karratha based linehaul with some requirements to support Karratha based work.
About this opportunity
Due to continued growth our Transport & Logistics division requires an experienced MC driver based in Karratha to provide safe and efficient pick‐up and delivery of freight for both local and linehaul networks. These are residential positions and FIFO is not available.
Skills, licences & experience required for the position
* Current MC Class Drivers Licence
* Current and valid Forklift Licence (desirable)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* WA Fatigue Management within three (3) years
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proven experience in following safety procedures
* Willingness to undertake and clear a full medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment, including a commercial driver fitness assessment
* Right to live and work in Australia
