The Role
* Lead and facilitate risk identification and management to ensure risks are reduced to ALARP.
* Conduct and oversee incident investigations (ICAM/Taproot) and communicate findings to leadership.
* Develop, implement, and coordinate HSE standards, programs, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, corporate requirements, and IMS standards.
* Monitor, interpret, and communicate legislative changes.
* Lead hazard investigations and ensure corrective actions address root causes.
* Coach and mentor managers in developing HSE management plans and risk registers.
* Conduct field observations, inspections and audits (JHAs, SWMS, ATWPs, high-risk work, equipment, environmental inspections).
* Review subcontractor HSE Management Plans and verify capability.
* Provide guidance on return-to-work and injury management, including treatment plans.
About You
* Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
* ICAM or Taproot certification.
* Minimum 5 years in a similar HSE role, with demonstrated senior‐level capability.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office capability.
* Advanced incident investigation experience (ICAM/Taproot).
