Job Description
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with menu and venue standards
* Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
* Assist with menu planning and development (Chef level)
* Manage food preparation and service during busy periods
* Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and maintain stock rotation
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation in line with food safety standards
* Comply with all hygiene, health and safety regulations
* Support and train junior staff where required
Qualifications
* For Chefs:
o Relevant qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
o Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
o Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
* For Cooks:
o Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, or at least 2-3 years' relevant experience
o Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
* Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
* Team-oriented with a positive attitude
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
