Job Overview
We're looking for a Work Coordinator to join our Invicta Mill team in the Burdekin Region, North Queensland. The role involves safely and efficiently planning and coordinating maintenance and capital works for mill assets within the Feed & Crush strategy area, while assisting other strategy areas when required.
Location: Giru, North Queensland, just a 30‑minute drive from Ayr or Townsville.
Your Role
* Lead and support the site engineering and operations teams.
* Collaborate to develop and implement maintenance and capital plans.
* Oversee team performance and provide guidance for efficiency.
* Develop and coordinate the weekly schedule and contribute to long‑term program planning.
* Ensure resource readiness for maintenance and capital works, including breakdowns and shutdowns.
* Conduct in-field fault finding and rectification.
* Monitor and manage compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Motivated leader with strong communication, influence and negotiation skills.
* Tertiary or trade qualification in a mechanical discipline, or demonstrated practical experience in the sugar industry or similar heavy industrial environments.
* Experience working with turbines and associated equipment, with the ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot these complex systems effectively.
