An exciting opportunity is available for a Claims Consultant to join a well-established specialist underwriting agency with a reputation for expertise, long-standing staff tenure, and a highly supportive team culture. What will you be doing?
* Manage and coordinate a portfolio of insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution
* Liaise with brokers, insureds, insurers, legal representatives and other stakeholders
* Assist with Financial Lines claims including Management Liability, Professional Indemnity, D&O, EPL and Fidelity matters
* Review claim documentation and gather relevant information to support assessments
* Monitor claim progress and ensure timely communication with all parties
* Maintain accurate records and deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the claims process
What do you need?
* Previous experience within insurance claims, underwriting, broking, assessing or a related insurance role
* Strong understanding of insurance principles and claims processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
* Tier 1 General Insurance qualification preferred, or Tier 2 with a commitment to further study
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
