The Role This is a hands-on, all-round accounts role where you will take ownership of the day to day financial operations of the business. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all accounting functions, payroll, compliance support, and financial administration. You’ll be working in a small, fast paced office environment, while still having a laugh. Our client will consider either full time, or part-time hours (approximately 30 hours per week) with flexibility around working hours, including school-hour friendly arrangements for the right person. Flexibility for adhoc days working from home as needed. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Full function accounts payable and receivable Invoicing, reconciliations, and financial administration Payroll processing and employee records management Preparation and support for BAS reporting Budget tracking and financial reporting support Managing employee contracts and onboarding documentation Liaising with external partners including accountants and others where required Supporting systems and processes using MYOB About You You will be a highly capable accounts professional who enjoys working in a varied role. Strong end-to-end accounts experience (AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations) Experience with MYOB - ideal Exposure to BAS preparation or working closely with accountants Experience in a small business or trade/construction environment preferred Excellent organisation and attention to detail A proactive, can do attitude and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders Application If you believe you could be the right fit for this position, please apply today.
