**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in the transport infrastructure sector. As a specialist in Bridges, Roads & Structures, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing small to medium transport projects.
Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality reports, driving project success, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals. You will work closely with clients to elevate their satisfaction through proactive problem-solving, applying industry best practices, and ensuring design compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver excellence in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ)
* Collaborate across teams to deliver smarter solutions
* Elevate client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving
* Apply industry best practices and ensure design compliance
* Create detailed technical reports and engineering drawings
You will also oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while supporting business growth through bid and tender preparation.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar
* 2+ years of experience in transport infrastructure (multidisciplinary project experience is a plus)
* A strong understanding of QLD TMR standards
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform technical analysis
* Skilled in using engineering software and preparing technical reports
