Latrobe Regional Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team on a full-time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under supervision, you will assist pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to patients and departments across the health service. This role includes technical support duties permitted by the Victorian Pharmacy Authority and offers the opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of pharmacy practice in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role of the Pharmacy Technician is:
- Assist with the repackaging of pharmaceuticals in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform clerical and data entry tasks to support pharmacy operations.
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory.
- Assist clinical pharmacists with ward-based tasks and patient support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and other duties as directed.
About you
- Hold a Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or working towards).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good level of computer competency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience and knowledge of PBS and medication terminology (desirable).
