Senior Civil Construction Manager
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to join our team in the Gippsland region. As a key member of our site-based team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-precision civil works for energy and water infrastructure projects.
The Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer or Civil Engineer with a strong technical background and understanding of civil construction methodologies, standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Performance Monitoring: Monitor and control project performance, including scheduling, budget, quality control, and successful completion of project milestones.
* Site Leadership: Take a leading role on site, driving the daily execution and technical aspects of civil construction works.
* Safety Operations: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring rigorous adherence to all safety protocols and managing site safety operations.
* Client Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and effective liaison with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements & Expectations
You will possess the following experience and qualifications:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, ideally within the civil construction sector, with exposure to energy or water infrastructure projects.
* A strong technical background and understanding of civil construction methodologies, standards, and safety regulations.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
