Downer Transport and Infrastructure is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our team based in Hope Valley, WA. Youll gain valuable hands‐on experience while completing a Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques over two years earn while you learn!
What the job looks like:
* Work alongside experienced professionals on laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials
* Assist in the preparation and testing of asphalt, aggregates, and other roadbuilding materials
* Participate in toolbox talks, safety days, and other relevant activities
* Gain practical, on‐the‐job experience in a laboratory environment
What youll bring:
* Current Drivers Licence and General Construction Induction (White) Card
* A keen interest in laboratory work and eagerness to learn
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Strong commitment to safety and Downers Zero Harm principles
