Associate - Power EngineeringJoin Beca's Power team as an Associate Power Engineer.
This role supports high-value projects across Australasia, from traditional HV transmission to infrastructure and industrial projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical delivery of primary/HV projects from feasibility, concept designs, detail designs, and owner's engineer stages.Develop, mentor, and lead junior engineers.Lead the primary design of high-voltage substations and other related infrastructure.Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver timely and accurate documentation and reports.Lead teams of engineers to undertake large packages of work, including training and mentoring junior staff.Provide concept and detailed design and review of specifications, drawings, etc.Maintain current design standards as set by statutory requirements.Carry out quality checks and procedures.Offer high-quality technical advice to our clients and collaborate across business lines.Support strategic bids and tenders for future energy projects across ANZ.QualificationsProven senior engineering experience in power infrastructure (HV/EHV transmission, distribution, or traction).
Experience in substation primary engineering for HV/EHV substations (up to 500 kV ideally).
