About Freedom Internet
The Role
Take your part in Freedom Internet team deliveringtelecommunication services to our fantastic clients. Freedom Internetbuilds and operates a network that we are proud of.
* Installation and maintenance of telecommunications facilities including:
o Installation of antennas and radios on rooftops
o Cabling through buildings between communication equipment
o Installation of modems in apartments and homes
* Updating tickets with information on completed jobs and time entries.
* Conduct surveys to determine installation requirements for future deployments
* Participation in the on‑call roster
About You
The successful applicant for this role loves working outdoors and takes pride in their work. They'll also have the following attributes/qualifications:
* ACMA Cabling license
* Experience working on telecommunications networks
* Good computer literacy – able to use Microsoft office applications to send emails and create documents
* Experience with point‑to‑point wireless links is advantageous but not required
* Ability to climb ladders and work on building rooftops with appropriate safety gear.
* Experience with hand tools
* Working at Heights experience advantageous
