Overview
Picker Packer to join a busy manufacturing operation in Bayswater. This is a relatively straightforward role where you'll be picking parts from a bill of materials (BOM) and preparing them for the production team. The components are generally small and light, with all stock accessible from floor level. The role requires good attention to detail to ensure accuracy and avoid delays or rework for the assembly team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Picking parts against a bill of materials (BOM)
* Matching part numbers and descriptions to the correct components
* Marking off items as they are picked to minimise errors
* Preparing complete kits of parts for production work orders
* Ensuring orders are accurate before being released to production
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
About You
* Previous warehouse, stores, picking or packing experience preferred
* Able to accurately match part numbers and descriptions to physical stock
* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Reliable and able to work consistently in a production environment
* Understand the importance of attendance and being part of a production team
* Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
This role forms a critical part of the production process. If BOMs aren\'t picked and prepared, the assembly team can\'t build rollers. As a result, reliability and consistent attendance are just as important as experience.

What's on Offer
* Casual rate of $38.31 per hour plus penalties
* Pay increase scheduled for November under the current agreement
* 38-hour week with occasional overtime available
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
* Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
