Equipment Services Coordinator - Yard Hand - Melbourne

A highly connected, fast-paced role. You'll work across teams to ensure equipment is managed efficiently, keeping operations running smoothly and customers are supported.
You'll be part of a fast-moving team that backs each other and gets stuck in. At the heart of the role is making sure our fleet is ready to go, every time—clean, compliant, and exceeding customer expectations. From detailing and minor repairs to coordinating check outs, you'll ensure every customer can "hook up and go" without delay. You'll also represent TR on the ground—moving equipment, engaging with customers and suppliers, and taking pride in presenting our fleet at its absolute best.
Key responsibilities
* Inspecting, cleaning and detailing trucks and trailers to a high standard
* Completing de-hire inspections and identifying any damage or issues
* Carrying out minor repairs (lights, fittings, small fixes) to keep equipment hire-ready
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
* Greeting customers on arrival and supporting pick-ups and drop-offs
* Ensuring vehicles are presented in top condition—ready to go, no delays
* Working closely with the Rental and Workshop teams to meet daily priorities
* Develop strong relationships with external and internal customers and suppliers
* Assist in the training and skill improvement of other team members where it may benefit the performance of the team
About you
* Heavy Rigid, HR licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Forklift licence (advantageous)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
* High attention to detail and pride in quality work
* Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
