About The Role
This role is responsible for delivering Council's scheduled parks asset inspection program, ensuring accurate condition assessments, risk identification and high‐quality asset data. You'll work cross‐functionally to support capital works, asset renewals and ongoing improvements to Council's asset management systems.
On a daily basis you will
* Conduct inspections of parks assets, including condition ratings, defect identification and risk mitigation.
* Use ArcGIS and OneCouncil to update and manage the Parks Asset Register.
* Complete post‐construction handover inspections and action asset capitalisation or decommissioning requirements.
* Allocate post‐inspection works and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support maintenance and renewal programs.
About You
You're someone who brings strong technical judgement, a practical mindset and a genuine commitment to keeping community spaces safe and well‐managed.
* Hands‐on experience with parks or play equipment maintenance and general parks infrastructure.
* Confidence using ArcGIS and OneCouncil, particularly mobility applications.
* Experience conducting risk assessments and applying risk‐mitigation practices.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Business Management, Project Management or a trade‐related field
* Formal training or qualifications in ArcGIS
* Level 2 Playground Inspection certification
* Class C NSW Driver Licence
