The role
As the Quality & Education Coordinator, you will play a central role in ensuring high standards of care through comprehensive quality management and targeted staff education. You will coordinate audits, handle incident investigations, and contribute to clinical governance activities that uphold compliance with aged care quality standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining documentation, supporting policy updates, and preparing insightful reports that inform management decisions.
In addition, you will develop and implement training programs that address mandatory requirements and professional development, supporting both new and existing staff. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness, you will help drive organizational excellence and promote safe, compassionate care within the facility.
Requirements
* Relevant clinical qualification (Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Allied Health professional) with current AHPRA registration if applicable
* Proven experience in quality management, clinical governance, and staff education within aged care or related sectors
* Strong knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and compliance frameworks
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with training management systems
* Current Police Check
* COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (including boosters) or valid medical exemptions
